Description
We're a free-thinking craft cider company that doesn't like being constrained. In fact we only like making craft ciders as naturally and as simply as possible - using the very best fresh apples, small batch techniques, wild yeasts and 100% juice. The resulting ciders are full of depth, character and as near to perfection as we can get them

Box @ Shrewsbury Hotel. Pours misty yellow, aroma of musty pear, pulp, apple tart. Taste is a very moreish blend of apple with pear tartin and subtle glimpses of apple core. Complex but well integrated blend of flavours. This really is an excellent cider by an excellent producer.

Bag-in-a-box at the Monk’s Retreat (JDW), Reading. Pale greenish-gold with a faint haze. Very smooth. Lots of vanilla and some wood up front - the barrel-ageing is very obvious. Sharp, funky apple behind. Sweet ripe pears in the finish. Great balance, great depth of flavour, very drinkable and interesting to boot. An excellent cider, although if you don’t like barrel-ageing it may not be for you!

Bag in Box at George Croydon. It pours cloudy greenish gold with limited head. The aroma is fresh, sweet, ripe apple, conference pear, damp leaves and fruit crumble. The taste is smooth, juicy, tart apple, juicy ripe pear, fruit pie, light acidity, tannins, touch of astringency and earth with a pretty dry finish. Medium bodied and still. Really nice balance and depth of flavour. Very nice.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Pale golden coloured cider that’s medium-dry, with its apple coming to the fore in its lingering aftertaste. There’s a small strength evident too.

On hand pump at the Bank Tavern, Bristol 11/5/2016. Golden with a slight haze and short-lived head. Semi-tart cider, with some barnyard character and a touch of apple juice sweetness upfront. Fine.
