Clear rich reddish amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate, slightly viscous and leaves a little stickiness on the lips. Decent superfine carbonation. Smooth malts, good start! Touch of creamy sweetness, pretty mild. Mellow caramel and toffee. Lovely Port Wine vibe, red berries and all. Little woody brandy underneath. Very mild spice. Some vague marmalade on the back end. Finishes surprisingly light and with mild bitterness. A surprisingly assured and mature barleywine. Has great depth and character, carries next to no heat for it's huge abv and to cap it all, it's just plain old fashioned drinkable. A delightful surprise.

Na zimno - sporo tej beczki, ale nie specjalnie fajnej, troche destylatowo dziegciowej. W tle jest czeko-kawo-costam. Niewiele ciala. Grzeje

Bottled 500ml (eB)
Murky orange-pinky colour, not much head. Grapefruit and mango in the fruity citric nose. Light-bodied. Blood grapefruit, mango, some lactic notes, tartness. Easy, kind of refreshing but not really my cup of tea. --- Beer merged from original tick of Maryensztadt Sourtime Gooseberry Sour Ale on 18 Dec 2020 at 14:49 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4.5. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Gooseberry and rhubarb in the nose. Light-bodied. Light watery flavour, easy drinking, tartish rhubarb/gooseberry. Even a bit medicinal. Neh.

Butelka 0,5 z datą ważności do 1.09.2019.

Draught at CBF Wien.
Purple body, with a deep pink head.
Aroma of blackcurrants, yoghurt, sweet-sour red and black berries.
Tastes similar, with some more sour notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes medium sour, a bit sweet, very fruity, with lots of dark berries.

Very nice. All about the currants, which are everywhere. Well balanced, not too sour and fresh to drink. Lovely berry sour ale.

Draught at CBF Wien.
Brown body, with a medium, fluffy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of nuts, toast, dark bread, dark chocolate, subtle berries.
Tastes quite similar, with more cocoa and some coffee.
mouthfeel, with a carbonation.
Finishes toasty, moderate roasty, with cocoa, nuts, dark bread.

Good. The blueberries are very subtle, only if you know it. Otherwise a straight Porter, not toi special, but nice to drink.

Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is soft and slightly viscous! Decent carbonation. Smooth malts bring a little sweetness. Floral bitter hops with a thoroughly odd intertwined tang, something grassy but like cut grass that has started to rot. Mild hop spice. Some citric peel in the aftertaste. A bit too odd.
