Sample thanks to minutemat, cheers Mat! Pale yellow gold colour, short-lived bubbly white foam head and aroma of fruity apple, gooseberry hint. Taste is funky, apple, fruity, citric, some leather, earthy, and notes of white wine, gooseberry, acidic, tangy with slight tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tangy finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sample thanks to minutemat, cheers Mat! Slighty hazy pale gold colour, some short-lived white bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruity, vanilla, caramel, oak barrel. Taste is sweetish, apple, vanilla, caramel, some flesh and core, drying, mellow tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Dry finish, gently astringent. Enjoyed my Somerset rate #200.

500ml bottle Chez Sophie. Pours a clear varnished Amber colour. Aroma of natural, pressed cider apple fruit. Taste presents a comforting medium dry with lovely tannic flourishes. Nicely sweet, wonderfully balanced and effortlessly drinkable. Good stuff.

330ml bottle from Harry's Cider Farm. Pours clear reddish purple, still. Good fruity aroma, raspberry coming through nicely. Good fruitiness overall, not overly sweet, has a natural feel about it whilst remaining quite light and drinkable. Decent for the style.

330ml bottle from Harry's Cider Farm. Pours a hazed pale pinkish peach. Aroma of light rhubarb. Taste is, as expected, clean light and breezy with lightly sweet rhubarb, sweet apple juice. Nothing untoward. Nice and easy drinking.

500ml bottle from Harry's cider farm, shared with Soph listening to St Vincent playlist on 6 music. Clear gold appearance, sweet sugary apple juice nose, taste is crisp, fruity with excellent Dabinett coming through, great furry tannins lingering on the finish. Very good.
