BIAB at the Stumble Inn micropub, Northallerton. Orange golden colour, no head and aroma of apple, caramel, barnyard funk. Taste is sweetish, fleshy apple, alittle apple skin, with drying acidity and light funk. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable

7/6/2019. From bag in a box at the 28th Doncaster Beer Festival. Pours almost clear mid gold with a small bubbly head. Aroma of semi-sweet apples, tannins and barnyard. Moderate to medium sweetness with light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, very soft carbonation. Some dryness to finish, quite drinkable.

Draught at Newcastle Beer & Cider Fest 2019. Pale golden colour, no head and apple & ginger aroma. Taste is sweetish, gingery, apple, mellow. Medium bodied, low carbonation, gingery finish. OK, like the pun!

BIAB at Liverpool Beer Fest 2019. Red-pink colour, no head and ribena berry aroma. Taste is raspberry and blackberry, sweet, with a hint of apple. Syrupy mouthfeel, low carbonation, sweet berry fruity finish. Too sweet.

Cider rating, why not... Thanks to my boss for the bottle. Short-lived, snow white, loose head fizzing away in instants, clear warm peach-tinged golden with calm fizz. Aroma of fried apples baked in butter, cookies, sweetbread, pineapple, pear juice. Sweet, evidently very apple-ish onset, softly fizzing, oily mouthfeel, medium thick, baked apple-like middle, slight bready aspect, drying finish, sour apple, hint of cava. Accessible but I know nothing about cider and do not honestly like it, so this rating should not be taken too seriously.

At the Lamb, Axbridge 11/4/2017. Slightly hazy amber in colour and pretty flat in condition. A pleasant still cider, with some funkiness, tart character and touch of fruit in the finish. Good.
