28/8/2021. From BIAB at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of medium sweet apple, caramel, baked apple. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, soft carbonation.

Demijohn bottle from Harry's Cider Farm. Pours gold, still. Orchard apple fruit aroma. Taste presents a good well-rounded farmhouse scrumpy, nicely fruity, moderately sweet with comforting tannins, no off-flavours. Nice.

75cl bottle from Harry's Cider Farm on our last Somerset trip. Pours quite a pale yellow, sparkling. Aroma of grape, white wine, gooseberry, sweet apple fruit. Presents quite a pleasing clean spritz on the palate, light and elegant, with a gentle cremant feel about it. Very good.

500ml bottle from Harry's Cider Farm. Pours clear gold with a lovely fruity medium introduction on the nose. Good caramelised fruit shining through to taste, with just the right amount of grippy tannin. Great well rounded medium dry.

Bottle from Harry's Cider Farm. Pale golden yellow, light mist. Aroma supports the mango and lime description well, gently fruity sweet. Taste is as expected, clean, lightly fruity, nicely balanced and summery. Not as sweet as other fruited ciders, quite light but satisfying.

Sample thanks to minutemat, cheers Mat! Pale yellow gold colour, short-lived bubbly white foam head and aroma of fruity apple, gooseberry hint. Taste is funky, apple, fruity, citric, some leather, earthy, and notes of white wine, gooseberry, acidic, tangy with slight tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tangy finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sample thanks to minutemat, cheers Mat! Slighty hazy pale gold colour, some short-lived white bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruity, vanilla, caramel, oak barrel. Taste is sweetish, apple, vanilla, caramel, some flesh and core, drying, mellow tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Dry finish, gently astringent. Enjoyed my Somerset rate #200.
