Growler from Hop City. Pours a deep copper color with a small beige head. The aroma is caramel, cinnamon, floral hops, and pecans. The flavor is sweet, with a mild hop bitterness in the middle through the finish. There is a faint yeasty funk. The palate is medium, a little astringent, and sticky. Overall, this is a good beer, with enough complexity to hold my interest, but very quaffable.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a bright, hazy gold with a very thin head and no lacing. The aroma is lemons, lime, wheat, and white bread. The flavor is citrus sweetness and a little tartness. The palate is light to medium, acidic, and a little sticky. There is a long, sour aftertaste, but it is mild and kinda nice. Overall, this is a nice wheat ale. Nothing too surprising, but well made.

Sampled at the DC Local Tasting a 22oz bottle pours a watery, translucent mahogany with some clumpy beige head. Nose is malty, nutty, brown sugar, toasted bread. Flavor is malty, bready, crackers, smomething spicy like rye, light vanilla. Full bodied.

Pours black with a minimal head. Aroma of roast malt and wood smoke that wanders towards Liquid Smoke. Roast malt bitterness in the flavor is balanced by a good malt sweetness. Not as much smoke in the flavor as in the aroma.

[pours clear dark brown with a minimal off-white head. Sweet malt aroma, caramel. The flavor vaguely resembles a Scotch Ale but needs more of everything. No major flaws, I was just expecting more from this one.
