Description
Red Rock is a family run brewery based on a farm in South Devon, South West England. Since 2006, we’ve been making our extensive range of award winning and quality real ales and beers using the finest natural ingredients and our very own pure spring water. Each of our Devon beers has its own individual flavour and we take great pride in our artisan approach to producing them.

Bottle from Whistle Wines, Exeter. Amber coloured with a decent white head. Aroma of orange blossoms, marmalade and earthy malts. Flavours of more orange sweetness, citrus hops and a lingering dry finish. Good.

Bottle from Whistle Wines, Exeter. Chestnut coloured with a decent, off-white head. Aromas of jammy berry fruit and roasted malts. Flavour had plenty more blackcurrant and bramble fruit, some chocolate, caramel sweetness and roasty, dry finish. Good.

Bottle from Whistle Wines, Exeter. Deep brown in colour with hints of red and a tight, creamy off-white head. Rich, malty aroma of caramel with a hint of fruit. Flavours of chocolate and caramel with an ashy, dry finish. Very good.

Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of butter and honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of mlat and straw as well as lighter notes of honey. The body is light.

Cask-conditoned at the Imperial (JDW), Exeter 25/07/09. Pale amber with a slight white head. Aroma of summer fruit, citrus and a touch of floral hops. Flavour of biscuit malts, with more fruit and a dry finish. Good, easy drinking.

Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester. Pours a clear amber color with small off-white head. Has a fruity malty slightly toasted nutty aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some nutty hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty slightly citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty flavor with some hints of caramel and some hints of citrus. Has a fruity malty finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Cask (handpump) @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester, England.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to light moderate yeasty, chlorine notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090124]

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090123]

Cask at Manchester winter ale fetival 2009... Copper ... fruity smokey malt nose ... sweet fruity and juicy ... little otffee ... little woody ... cant pin it down but i like it.
