Black Country Beano. Cask at the Duke William. 4.5%. Light haze on this pale gold beer, good pale cream coloured head. Light palate, a little soft with fine carbonation. Good hops, taste US. Decent but light orange and grapefruit. Light peel and pith. Finishes light and dry with a good bitter linger. Good stuff.

Cask at the Duke William on the Taux Biere Pays Noir Parti De Autoubus, 06/07/13. Very lightly hazed blonde with a thin slip of a white head. Nose is lemon sherbet, light hop aroma, grass. Taste comprises pale malts, light citrus, grass, faint hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light mineral notes in the finish. Another drinkable beer from Craddocks but again fails to excite. Adequate.

Cask at the Duke William on that there bus thang, 06/07/13. Clear pale golden/blonde. Nose is bready malt, light Burton snatch tones, fruits. Taste comprises orange sherbet, fruits, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with light bitterness. Average affair - not taken by the Craddocks range.

Cask at the Duke William on the RB Black Country Bus Burpathon - 06/07/13. Very lightly hazed golden with a medium sized white head. Nose is biscuity malt, fruits, light strains of diacetyl. Taste follows, bitter fruits, caramel, bready malt, not picking up too much Bscotch but perhaps a trace. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitter fruit notes in the finihs, Average ESB, average summed up the beers I tried from Craddocks.

Cask at the Duke William, Stourbridge on the Rate Beer Black Country Bash - 06/07/13. Clear golden with a decent sized off white cap. Nose is toasty malts, light fruit, hint of yeast, orange notes. Taste comprises bread dough, summer fruits, bready malt, light sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, bitter notes in the finish. Ok drinkable affair but doesn’t carry much depth of flavour for a 5.4% number. I wouldn’t look to revisit this one - as with all of the Craddocks offerings I sampled - just a bit too basic and this one scored highest!

Cask at the Duke William, Stourbridge. Poured a light amber with a round white head. The aroma is creamy malt, leading to a big malty, weak bitter flavour with a watery palate.
