Cask at The Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a slightly hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Malty aroma with notes of grass and plumbs. Flavours of brown sugar, toasted malt and pear juice. Straw on the finish with some cinnamon and stewed fruit.

Cask (gravity) @ 29th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2012, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20121204]

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, earthy, antique furniture, earth. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sour malt, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at Pigs Ear BF 2012, London. Pours clear, red-brown with a fine, tan foam head. Mild dry dark fruits on the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with some semi-dark fruits, light grapes. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, semi-dark fruit finish, some toasty malts. OK stuff. Respectable mild.

Pigs Ear. The Long Good Friday teamed up with ChrisO. hazy deep amber beer. Residual pale tan head. Light dry palate. Tangy dried fruits. Whisper of cherry. Dry spices, a little sweet cinnamon. Cakey. Dry finish. Strangely endearing if quite clunky!

Pigs Ear. Almost clear amber beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Mild sweet malt, mild dried fruit hops. Dry finish. More EBBS. (English Bitter Boredom Syndrome). Except this is Welsh!

Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks, Saturday 18th August 2012 Pours light amber, good clarity. Fruity beer with a little underlying sweetness, some sacchrine flavour, bit drying at end. Nice but the weakest of those had so far. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0
