Cask at Pigs Ear BF 2012, London. Pours clear, red-brown with a fine, tan foam head. Mild dry dark fruits on the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with some semi-dark fruits, light grapes. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, semi-dark fruit finish, some toasty malts. OK stuff. Respectable mild.

Pigs Ear. The Long Good Friday teamed up with ChrisO. hazy deep amber beer. Residual pale tan head. Light dry palate. Tangy dried fruits. Whisper of cherry. Dry spices, a little sweet cinnamon. Cakey. Dry finish. Strangely endearing if quite clunky!
