Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a yellow gold color with a large foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy, yeasty and a bit fruity. The flavor was tangy and a bit grainy with sour mash, a bit yeast and a hint of hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Better than usual for this style but still not good.

This beer is meant to fulfill our purpose in it does that. It's not an outstanding beer it's just a thirst-quenching beer that comes in a little bottle and it stays cold for the brief amount of time it takes to drink it. End of story.

Look, I’m not going to say much about this can of beer. It is your typical Melanie City Brewing ice cheap pale lager. A little higher gravity than a typical cheap pale and it certainly shows its colors. Slight volatile cream corn aroma. Difficult alky laced pale lager on the palate, from the start. It likes to let you know its an american iced lager. Somewhat rude, but not quite as much as I was expecting. Yes, quite like many of the beers now made at old latrobe, a long cry from the good ol’ rolling rock made here years ago. I miss that old 33. Coarse finish.

Can: Clear, yellow-gold with a large, slow, white head. Taste is sweet grain, barley malt along with that slight harshness that accompanies ice beers..... Not terrible.....pretty much on par with what you’d expect.

Can. Lactic acid, barley malt, and light grass aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Moderately sweet honey, barley malt and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Okay body. Easily the best Ice beer I’ve had in the past 15 years. One of those beers that tastes better straight out of the can.

From old tasting notes. Orange Amber color. Bubbly beige head. Tangy aromatic malt nose. Assertive toasted malt flavor is overshadowed by excessive carbonation. Dry hoppy finish is reminiscent of grapefruit.

Shaker pint draft at the Christian Moerling Brewing Co. Malt House in Cincinnati Ohio. This beer was listed as “Hudy Bock” on the menu board. The pour is a clear dark brown copper with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet caramel, nut, and some grass. The taste is the sweet malt, caramel toffee, grass with a mineral, clean finish. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and a dry sweet malty mineral finish. Nice Bock.

Sampled from a 7 oz green bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet yet skinny, sourish and off. The flavor was bitter and dry with a bit of skunkiness and perfume. Medium length finish. light body. Awful.
