27 December 2025. Van Hoefs Christmas tasting - cheers to all! Can from Mr. Hop.
A: hazy yellow, stable, foamy, white head.
A: physalis, unripe peach, lime zest, basil, dough.
T: sweetish peach, sourish passion fruit, dough, bit spicy.
F: floral hops, juicy stone fruit, bitter mint.
P: medium body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation.

Can 0.5l, one and half years aged. Clear, dark red to black colored. AROMA- roasted, liquor, elderberries, earthy. FLAVOR- smooth, slightly sweet, slightly sour, bitter, chocolate, elderberries, earthy, leafy, liquor. Fuller bodied.

500ml Can - Murky golden with a white head. Melon, peach and hints of papaya and grain in the aroma. Peach, apricot, melon and some sweet and slightly grainy notes in the taste.

0.50l can from Piwne Mosty. Aroma is caramelly, dried fruity and floral. Pours cloudy brown amber color with thin creamy tan-like head, nice lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and dried fruity with solid malty backbone, following is herbal and floral, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is dry and bitter. Can and my day 17 beer, Mr Hop advent calendar, picked up from Mr Hop webshop, Venray, Netherlands though consumed on day 20, Saturday 20th December 2025 in the company of Rasti and Yousef. We made a huge Persian meal today with Rasti and Yousef and it was fantastic. This beer pours black the head didn't hang around for long, do forgot to take details. Nice mouthfeel, smooth, with waves of cocoa and chocolate flavours throughout. The roasty bitterness is in the lower scale with this beer. It's very enjoyable and a great effort from Nepo and Mr Hop. Score 7.8
