Month old can
A: Clear pale gold with little head or lace save a lasting ring.
S: Floral and lemon lime citrus aroma with a bit of wood.
T: Contrary to the description I find it pretty bitter and heavy on citrus pith and pulp; again mainly lemon lime with a woody malt hit joining.
M: Light and crisp with prickly carbonation and a bit of an oily feel.
O: Nice to see a new session ale and this one is pretty good.

Tap. Ok beer. Golden in color. Aroma, mild, grass, malt. Taste was a grassy malt with just a tad of hops.

Can. Just an average Scotch Ale. Amber color with not much head. Aroma is a malty, caramel, dried fruit smell. The taste is where it falls flat. The flavor starts off fine. Caramel and such. The after-taste is terrible. Chemical-bitter taste.

Pour is rather darker pale with a big bubbly head that fades to pond scum after a few minutes. Nose is sweet pine. First impression is that of a flat, mouthcoating, cloying beer with lots of hop bitter sweetness. Second big swig is the same. In the middle, this is not growing on me. But hey, I am not an IPA lover and if I thought it tasted good, it probably would not be a decent IPA. So though its a little sweet and cloying, I guess it is a terribly on style IPA. What else can be said, its a tick and there are over a quadrillion IPA out there, and they all virtually taste about the same. So much for the maturing of my palate. Blah.
