12 ounce can from Ingles Black Mountain, 4/27/23. Probably my first French Broad tick in years, which is a shame since I really like these guys. I should make more of an effort to visit. Clear amber, medium white head, good retention. Aroma of bready malt, floral hop, citrus. Taste is bready malt, citrus, stone fruit, toast. Crisp, well balanced. Nice.

Grapefruit, caramel, earth, grain, and pine, just what you want from a west coast DIPA. Pretty easy to make a big can disappear.

Decent hazy, notes of stone fruit, grapefruit zest, papaya, and a touch or cracker, with a modest pine-mineral bitterness on the finish. Pretty good pint.

Pint at the AVL airport as I wait to j another delay. Lacy, clear, gold with a twinge of piss. Saline & veg nose. Taste is crusty toast, no char, whole wheat pasta, plus some underlying salty mineral quality & celery that's odd. Lingering bitter veg. Not exactly clean. Frothy, thin, hidden acid. Meh to okay.

OK, got this for 2$ at total wine in NC, I like those places even tho some have started to cut back on their singles offering. This can pours an eye of rootbeer with a nose of a friendly malt. I drank this one from the can and from a glass at an ideal recommended presentation for appreciation, around 53, F in a traditional glass. It does have its friendly manner but it is a little volatile in nature as it finds its way down the gullet. Yes, well its 7% and you know it. I like this because even at its recommended warmer temperature, it seems rather civilized in nature considering the alky content.
