golden color, slightly tart nose. Very light dry mouth with slight tartness. Very good beer to start or to match with food. Very drinkable. Well balanced. Enjoyable.

Bottled (Thanks Kim!). Slightly hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, some mild acidic fruityness as well as mild sweet maltyness and caramel. Flavour is citrus fruits, some mild acidic notes and mild vanilla and sappy notes.

Draught at Wachi. Cloudy gold, pastel-leaning. Nose of daidai citrus fruit, some pilsner malt and grassy hop. Tons of daidai in the flavor—overwhelming, with soft malt. Softly carbonated, smooth and full. Very tasty and well-done but not beery enough. Over-run by the fruit.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours fuzzy, red-brown with a light, white foam head. OK, some toasty caramel on the scene, a bit of brown sugar. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet with toasty bread, a bit of doughy caramel. Alright.

Draught at the Yokohama GJBF 2012. Lager with unmalted 2-row barley added. Very grainy, barley nose. You really get the grain aroma. Not much hop. Pale yellow. Very cereal, grainy flavor. It really came out like they wanted. Very chewy and malty. I don’t particularly dig it, but it’s well done.

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Very deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, mild toasted notes as well as some ripe fruityness. Flavour is fruity, wooden and mildly toffeeish with some slight notes of toasted malts.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours deep brown, with a thin off-white head. The nose is caramel, umami aspect, prune, date, dark grape and wood. The taste is grape, wood, leather, roasted malt, toast, umami notes, coffee and bitter chocolate, with a very dry finish. So-so.
