Cask at GBBF '17, day 3, 10/08/17. Light murky pink with a decent off white covering. Nose is floral notes, straw, grains, apple, sugars. Taste comprises light tannins, orchard fruit, grains, light wood, slight tangyness to it, hint of berry fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok cider.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2017.. A mostly clear golden. Semi sweet bile, light acid. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy, sweet apple, tangy. Palate is medium swet, mellow carbonation. Good.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2017. A clear golden orange coloured pour with no head. Aroma is medium sweet clean fresh apple, little wood. Flavour is composed of Clean apple juicy mellow tang, little tannin, white sugars. Palate is medium sweet mellow lowish carbonation. Good stuff.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2017. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is nice elderflower floral sweet apple, bile, pear, hint of plastic. Flavour is composed of woody, medium sweet, apple, dry tannin, rounded, little under fermented.. Palate is semi sweet slight tang and mealy tannin. Interesting stuff. Lingeting woody mould.

Box @ GBBF ’17. Pours hazy pink, light fruity aroma. Taste presents a soft sour acidity with some moderately sweet apple fruit, some berry notes. Not bad.

Polycask @ GBBF 2012, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Apple Cottage F.T.J. Medium (4) ].ABV: 6.7%. Light unclear medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, sweet apple, yellow apples, wrinkled aååles, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, sweet red appls, yellow apples, wood notes, aceton notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120810]

Cask@GBBF2011. Hazy golden colour, not much head. Aroma is apples, yeast, herbs, some slight wooden juice and mild sulphury notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Also has some slight winelike notes and metal in the finish.
