Flight-sized sample with my wife at the meadery, April '19. Cloudy yellow, still. Smells of savory ginger. Chili. Food. Vinegary, very yeasty, ginger, twang. Off-putting yeast made this very difficult. The idea was good.

Sampled at the meadery with the wife, April '19. One ounce flight-sized pour. Love grapefruit, had no choice. Cloudy yellow, still. Smells of lemon, soap & candied white grapefruit as named. Taste is tart candied lemon, flowery/waxy honey. Creamy yeast, soap. Mixed emotions. It was okay, but not as good as I was hoping.

Flight at the meadery with the wife, April '19. Clear, oily gold, slight carbonation. Chili oil & honey scent. Apple tartness, soft honey, red pepper flakes heat. Getting better as the flight goes.

Flight at the meadery, April '19. Opaque gold. Some carbonation. Smells of light cacao, rum. Taste is light, oily chocolate & hinting, drying nuts, oxidized coffee. Acidic & sweet. Okay.

Flight at the meadery, April '19. Clear gold. Slight carbonation. Soy sauce, mellow spice, maybe ginger. Tastes of ginger marinade. Salt. Not quite thin. I really need to start making haikus out of these.

Flight at the meadery, April '19. Pale oily gold, slight bubbles. Oxidized strong ale scent with a peak of sharp leaf now and then. Bitter lime leaf, lingering green herbals.

Bottle sample at the source. Cloudy pinkish color. Aroma of dusty grapes. Taste is sweet berries black pepper light tannins. Nice.
