On tap at What’s Brewing Beer Festival 2015, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma of pine needles and caramel, some citrus. Some sweetness, but taste is dominated by bitterness. Dry mouth feel.

The Polish and German night. Craft Clerkenwell. With Travlr and ChrisO. Keg. Hazy deep gold beer, small pale cream colour head. A stunning smokey sausage nose, so accurate! Palate is light, semi dry and pretty crisp. Light and pleasantly smoky malts. A savoury sausage note carries over from the nose, but the brewer confirmed there is no meat in this beer! Trace of citrus. Light finish. An inventive and nicely executed beer, nose really was startling.

The Polish and German night. Craft Clerkenwell. With Travlr and ChrisO. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Trace of caramel sweetness. An odd but light smokey note gives way to floral lime and a touch of thin orange. Mild seltzer bitterness before a light finish. Unusual and tasty.

The Polish and German night. Craft Clerkenwell. With Travlr and ChrisO. Keg. Hazy orange - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Hops are mild orange citrus with a mild melon tang. Light floralness. Crisp finish. Interesting to finally try and Huell Melon single hop beer but the Melon is quite subtle here.

The Polish and German night. Craft Clerkenwell. With Travlr and ChrisO. Keg. Light haze on this deep brown beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is softish and airy, very fine carbonation. Thin dark malts but they bring mild roast and mild creamy sweetness. Modest piney hops, little berry fruits. Light finish. Nicely balanced and drinkable.

The Polish and German night. Craft Clerkenwell. With Travlr and ChrisO. Keg. Very hazy orange - gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and finely crisp. A somewhat jarring sour tang, - orange and lemon, it’s bitter too. Light savoury note precedes the airy finish. Awkward.

The Polish and German night. Craft Clerkenwell. With Travlr and ChrisO. Keg. Oily looking black - brown beer, no head. Palate is smooth with modest super fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts with a mild tang. Touch of dark chocolate. Nice mellow rum soaked dark fruits. Light finish. It’s not the sumptuous palate I would like but it’s tasty and pretty drinkable.

The Polish and German night. Craft Clerkenwell. With Travlr and ChrisO. Keg. Hazy orange - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and crisp. Thin airy malts, mild sweetness. Hops bring bitterish orange peel and a trace of lemon. Light finish. Bitter peel linger. Quite drinkable but this DIPA is not getting the most from one of the worlds great hops.
