Butelka 0.5l (15.04.2015). Barwa bursztynowa z piekna biala piana, trwala i ladnie zdobiaca szklo podczas opadania. Aromat slodowy, lekko kukurydziany, slodki, srednio intensywny, po ogrzaniu jakby delikatny alkohol co dziwne bo za duzo w piwie go nie ma. Poki co bez jakis wiekszych emocji. W smaku jest zdecydowanie slodowe, kukurydziane z wyrazna przyjemna chmielowa goryczka, intensywna na podniebieniu ale krotka w posmaku skontrowana slodowoscia piwa. Piwo pije sie bardzo przyjemnie choc "kukurydza" moze byc troszke meczaca. Nie rzuca na kolana jak IPA?y z Birbanta ale i tak jest dobrze.

50cl bottle from Uba ja Humal, Tallinn. Pours hazy murky orange to amber with an off-white head. Fairly fruity and hoppy aroma dominated by citrus with notes of pale malt, pine, spices and hints of yeast and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with fruity flavours, mainly grapefruit, and a quite nice bitterness Quite nice and refreshing, but a bit one dimensional. --- Beer merged from original tick of Single Hop Citra IPA on 16 Mar 2015 at 18:39 - Score: 6

50cl bottle from Uba ja Humal, Tallinn. Pours very dark, close to black, with a modest beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and hops, dark chocolate, dar fruits, mild citrus and pin and hints of dried fruits and pine. Medium sweet with a nice mixture of dark malty and nice hoppy flavours, finishes bitter, but balanced. Tasty and quite delicious!

Pours deep brown, some beige foam that disappears quickly.Aroma has some nice hop kick with BIPA-like roastiness. Fruity, autumn harvest with some roasted malts. Taste however, is a bit of a disappointment, it is quite light, sourish and feels kind of thin. Yes, roast flavours and nice fresh hops are still there, some freshly baked but charred rye bread as well - but I really expected this to have a thicker mouthfeel. All in all, feels like a session BIPA, although abv could allow for more.

Bottle. Dark amber colour, rocky head, decent lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, resin, grapefruit. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness. More fruity and sweet than aggressive. I’m not a big fan of IPAs, but this one is quite ok.

Barwa ciemno brunatna wpadajaca w czarna. Piana brazowa, niezbyt trwala. Aromat wedzony, palony, slodkawy. W smaku lekko wytrawne, wedzone (sliwka wegierka), lekko palone, kwaskowe i slodkawe. Smaki przeplataja sie ze soba, na poczatku jest wedzonosc, potem bardziej palonosc i delikatna goryczka. W posmaku wszystko po trochu, jak wyzej aczkolwiek palonosc jest troche piekaca i nie do konca przyjemna choc mozna sie przyzwyczaic. Piwo tresciwe ale wbrew pozorom gladkie, calkiem w miare pijalne choc kombinacja smakow, takie mam wrazenie, ze sie troche troche gryzie.

Pours hazy orange, good and persistent head, lacing is sticky. Aroma typical citra, soft, has some passion fruit. Taste is citric, lemon, not too agressive. I guess this beer is good for learning about single hop characters - in this case citra - but not so sure that this is truly enjoyable by its own right.
