Birbant is one of the pioneers of Polish craft brewing - bold, independent, and driven by creativity. We don’t follow the noise - we brew what truly matters.
Birbant (pronounced ‘beer-bunt’; Polish for ‘bon vivant’) contract brewery was established in 2013 by Jarek and Krzysiek (a.k.a. Kuli), two brewers and beer enthusiasts. Jarek is a professional brewer, who’s worked with several different breweries, while Kuli started brewing at home in 2003 and in the ten years before Birbant many of his home batches earned him awards at homebrew competitions. In their own words: “We have worked together on new recipes for a few years now. Our goal is to make flavorful and exceptionally aromatic beers we would like to drink ourselves.”

The Zarzecze Brewery gives us full freedom of developing and implementing new ideas and technologies. We have what every brewer dreams about: full control and the ability to supervise our projects personally at all times.

W szkle klarowne więc w stylu, aromat to pełen przekrój nuty żywiczno-iglaste, słodkie owoce tropikalne (ananas, liczi) i lekka nafta ( skąd, chyba topaz), jak na 19blg umiarkowanie wytrawne, goryczka kontruje całkiem nieźle choć nie jest jakaś mocarna za to bez hopburn. Klasyczny podwójny WC.

Murky yellow color with medium white head. Aroma: papaya, passion fruit, mango, pineapple. Taste: mango, resin, grainy, high astringency. Medium body, low to moderate carbonation, high bitterness. Promising however astringency kills drinkability and acts quite disturbing.

Can Pours hazy gold with white head. Feels bit overdue despite BB date in Aug 22. Juicy, light sourness. Hoppy feel. Not really impressed though.

Black and oily with quick fading head. Aroma is very grassy and has something of boiled veg. Initial taste is meaty and smoky. Nice oily texture. Deep flavours of smoke and burnt malts, bbq meat. Shame about the off notes in the aroma.
