Reading. Flight. 01/11/16. Sour aroma. A hint of yeast. Light Amber. Slightly hazy. Bitter. Really sour edge. Not getting what I’d expect. Soft and creamy. The sour aftertaste is annoying. Really bad attempt at this style.

On tap at Zerodegrees, Reading. A slightly hazy chestnut pour with a dense cream head; malty aroma; chewy malt body; with a dry and nutty finish. Simple but satisfying.

On tap at the Bristol branch, 11/10/2016. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head and moderate fizziness. Full-bodied beer, with some ripe, vaguely toasty malts, a hint of porridge creaminess, hedgerow fruits and a decent, bitter, finish. Good.
