From the ancient history of Assisi, its glimpses of landscapes covered in nature and perfumes, from the techniques and recipes jealously treasured among monasteries’ thick walls, a beer collecting old-time flavours was born: Birra dell’Eremo.

Like a bag keeping winds and secrets, each bottle, each sip, tells past histories of nobles, glorious names, markets, spices and immortal characters. Birra dell’Eremo hides within its full-bodied froth the ancient recipes and the most cutting edge techniques: the secret of its taste is perfectly balanced between tradition and innovation.

33cl can from Cantina della Birra, Riccione, Italy. Pours pale gold, fully transparent, with scarce foam, looking similar to a white wine. Aroma is of white wine. Body is average, with an important carbonation, this one similar to a sparkling white wine as well. Taste is slightly acidic. Final is average.

lattina 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine pannosa persistente, colore oro velato, al naso intenso ananas pesca agrumi frutta tropicale resina, in bocca malto caramello pompelmo ananas uva resina, corpo rotondo, alcool ben bilanciato, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro accentuato, media secchezza, leggera astringenza. A clear golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of sour white grapes, wood, wine. Taste of sour white grapes, wine, sulfur. Woody finish.

A clear pinkish red beer with a white lacing. Aroma of sour red grapes, berries, wood. Taste of sour red berries, red grapes, red apples, vineous finish.

Säuerlicher Beginn von Honig und Kirschen. Spritzig, die Säure bleibt verhalten, angenehm mild und natürlich fruchtig, etwas trocken, lang anhaltender Nachgeschmack, sehr rund. Gefällt. 10/8/9/9/9/9
