Description
The more than 725-year-old beer tradition in Litovel dates back to 1291, when King Wenceslas II granted the city the mile right. This privilege allowed only the Litovel burghers to brew and tap beer within a radius of one medieval mile, i.e. in a vicinity of approximately seven kilometres. In the Middle Ages, beer was brewed in a brewing house, which was then located at Litovel 57. Those with brewing rights were among the most affluent people, and played a significant role in managing the city. Even contemporary Litovel beer is brewed using classic processes, the roots of which date back to this glorious historical era.

Can. Actually not bad. Retains some resemblance to beer, the flavouring is not so strong as in others. Good amongst radlers.

Leicht süß röstiger Antrunk. Geringe Herbe, steigende Malzigkeit. Ausgewogen, dabei ist die Süße nicht zu stark, die Röstigkeit moderat. Würzig, rund. 10/11/11/9/9/9

Dumpf hopfiger, mild herber Antrunk. Weiches, süßlich brotiges Malz. Minimale Bitterkeit, steigend grasig hopfig. Süffig, nett. 9/8/9/9/9/9

500ml can bought from djoeye.Pours a firm, airy, snow white head slowly dissipating over a bright golden body. Fair lacing. Grainy smell with a mild citric touch. Similar taste of mid-sweet grain added by a backdrop of semi-dry citric notes. Soft carbonated. A bit empty on the swallow. Just alright with the peeled fresh prawns (shared with Frau Eva 23.10.2015).

From bottle on train from Bratislava to Vienna with TO 06.10.15. Clear golden. White head and lacing. Aroma and taste of malt and subdued hops. A decent eurolager.

From tap in a cellar restaurant in Brno with TO 05.10.15. Clear, pale golden. Persistent white head. Fruity and floral hop aroma. Unfresh taste, with wet cardboard and boiled vegetables. A waterish eurolager.

Butelka 0.5l (23.02.2016). Barwa niemal czarna, opalizująca. Piana jasno-beżowa, obfita, średniotrwała i ładnie oblepiająca szkłoAromat słodu ciemnego z malutkim smrodkiem (skunks) ale ogólnie jak na koncerniaka nie jest źle. Delikatnie słodkawe z akcentem słodu ciemnego w smaku, całkiem przyjemne. Jak na masową produkcje to piwo jest dobre i trzyma poziom. Lekkie delikatnie wodniste, pijalne, całkiem fajne w odbiorze.

Pours a clear yellow golden, covered by a decent white frothy head. Mild aroma, grassy hops some very gentle grains. Taste is characetrized by moderate bitterness, grassy with slightly sourish feel to it. Nice, crisp, refreshing, drinkable. Decent one.

Pours a clear golden yellow color, topped wit ha medium sized frothy white head. Mild aroma, grasssy hops and some grainy background. Taste is balanced - starts sweet and finishes mildly bitter, grassy. Light and crisp. Nothing special, but drinkable easily.
