Barrel. A light yellow perry with no head. The aroma is strong of pears. The flavor is sweet to start off - but soon after a strong acidity hits the tastebuds, ofcourse combined with strong notes of pears, leading to a slightly dry finish.

Colourless lemonade colour with no head. Pear, alcohol and fruit vodka in the aroma. Fruity sweet flavour with a sudden acid attack.

Barrel at GBBF 2007. Silver, green gold colour, typical of perry. Very perryish aroma, a little bit of vinegar on aroma, but it settles down. Some goodish fruit but lacks a little on teh finish. Some nail polish remover.

Bag in a box at Rare Breeds BF 2007. It was advertised as Uren Thorne Perry, but the sticker on the box quite clearly said Malvern Magic and given kook and maeib’s ratings, this is definitely the same perry. Very decent dry perry, lots of pear fruit, dryish finish. Good raw pear flavour with no real acetone/vinegar.
