Description
Started brewing in 2007 after acquiring the pub, and 8-barrel brew plant and based in the cellar, which was previously used by Porter Brewing Co at the same location since 1994. Initially, the beers were badged as Pennine Ales and may still be seen under that name sometimes.

Cask @ The Fox and Goose as it says on the tin. Golden but no head. It has a grain based character that is most evident in its taste with a slightly amber orange flavour. Retired by the Fox in March 2013 after it became a community pub.

Cask at The Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge, W.Yorks, Sun 08.04.12 in company of Loz, Nigel, Katy, Mark & Kathy at the Bacup Coco-Nutters weekend. Light amber in appearance with a white head, another Rossendale beer that was a touch hazy. Hoppy to start with, there is a lingering bitterness across the roof of the mouth. Tasty bitter, that I thought was better than expected. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Cask at The Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge, W.Yorks, Sun 08.04.12 in company of Loz, Nigel, Katy, Mark & Kathy at the Bacup Coco-Nutters weekend. Amber in colour with a touch of haze, but a good hoppy beer from the off. Feels quite thick in the mouth, drying at the end. Despite the less than promising looks this was a pretty decent beer. Cask handpull at Market Porter. Proper brown bitter colour with lasting beige head. Just a slight tinge of rubber on the dry malty flavour. OK best bitter. Good malts, some toast, but a little rubber too.
