Bomber. Get over here! Back, back, low punch. Aroma is roast and black syrup. Ligt vanilla, fortunately but no pepper. Flavor ends with a light pepper burn, which I enjoy. Well attenuated and the vanilla sweetness works well because of that. Still I could use less vanilla love the attenuation, the pepper burn is just right, though I could use more pepper flavor.

On tap at the Poulsbo brewpub hazy light orange with a thin white ring light sweet caramel aromas and flavors. Sweet smooth slick feel what I imagined a wheat wine to taste like. Very good

Tap at Watering Hole. Huge peach and citrus forward nose. The peach is strong in this one, with a touch of melon as well. Well-balanced with just enough malt character to keep it together and let the hops shine. Finish is bitter but with more peach. Very nice.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver; 2 years old
Black color, small head. Mild aroma of roasted malts. Lean body, some roasted malt flavor, also quite sour; low bitterness.
Is this what it was supposed to be or is this the result of an infection? Not too bad.

Draught at The Beer Junction, Seattle
Hazy blond color. Dry IPA, the malt has papery character, not very exciting, cereals husks, and the hopping, although bitter, doesn’t bring the expected citrusy quality.
Not exciting.

Hazy blond color with compact head. Citrusy and piney hops, on a crisp, crackery malt base, very dry; some lemon toffee in the final.
Excellent IPA.

Draught at Brouwer’s Café, Seattle; 9.8% ABV
Beautiful clean amber color. Solid brew, it has a nice malt profile leaning to caramel, robust hopping, candi sugar, orangey bitterness, and not cloying nor too sweet. No evidence of barrel aging.
Very good.
