Cask at Dorchester Beerex. Aroma is sweet and malty. Fruit and glue. Clear amber. Frothy bubbly foamy translucent white head. Very sour. Bitter edge. Underlying malts. Citrus, berries, quinine and grains. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. An amped up ESB. But too sour and dry for me.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin, scummy white head. Aroma of strawberries, malts with a slight plasticy note. Malty flavours dominate with with some grassy hop and a little metallic edge. Finish was pine needles and burnt toast, culminating in a rather astringent bitterness.
