Cask at Dorchester Beerex. Opaque cola brown. Frothy foamy beige head. Aroma has creamy coffee with a sour edge. Sour. Berries and coffee. Slightly creamy edge. But the sournwss is the main facet. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Decent.

Cask at Dorchester Beerex. Aroma is sweet and malty. Fruit and glue. Clear amber. Frothy bubbly foamy translucent white head. Very sour. Bitter edge. Underlying malts. Citrus, berries, quinine and grains. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. An amped up ESB. But too sour and dry for me.

Gravity cask at Dorchester CAMRA Beerex 2023. Pours clear pale amber with a white cap. Biscuit malts, light caramel, citrus with a spicy hop bitterness on the finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Tasty.

Cask at Weymouth Oktoberfest. Aroma is sweet and creamy. Mocha and caramel. Opaque cola brown. A few DNA strands of beige bubbles for a head. Light-medium bitter. Coffee and charcoal. Tangy berry finish. Medium bodied. Slick to oily. Average carbonation. Long somewhat dry finish. Nice if not overly exciting.

Tried at the 2020 Derby Winter Beer Festival. Black colour with a slim tan head. Aroma roasted coffee taste slightly dry. Medium body.

Cask-conditioned on gravity, at Weymouth Octoberfest. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Leafy hops, digestive malts and some red berry fruits before a lengthy, bitter, finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned on gravity, at Weymouth Octoberfest. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Decent bittering hops, biscuity malts and some hedgerow fruits before a lengthy, bitter, finish. Good.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin, scummy white head. Aroma of strawberries, malts with a slight plasticy note. Malty flavours dominate with with some grassy hop and a little metallic edge. Finish was pine needles and burnt toast, culminating in a rather astringent bitterness.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer fest 2013. Aroma is big fruity cranberry, berry, hedgerow, alcohol. Rich amber red colour with a fleeting off white head. Flavour is nice nutty dried fruit and caramel. Medium body and medium carb. Good condition.

Gravity dispense at the 23rd Battersea Beer Festival - 06/02/13. Lightly hazed golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, summer fruits, light hops, aspartamic/sherbet notes. Taste comprises pale malt, light caramel, fruits, sugar. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Drinkable but file under ’W’ !
