Aromas are dry grain, straw and malt with a hint of hops. Flavors are similar to nose. A touch more sweet than bitter up front with a little bit more bitter at the end. Okay body and carbonation.

12 oz. can from H.E.B. Plus, Boerne, TX. Pours a cloudy gold color with an off-white head and good retention. A few spots of lacing. Light hops aroma. Medium light bitterness and a slight juicy peach finish. Fairly mellow for the style, in spite of the 46 IBUs. Medium body, medium carbonation, and medium bitterness. Above average for the style, thanks to the juicy finish.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear dark mahogany color with a beige head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Nutty and slightly sweet aroma. Sweet, nutty, caramel and toffee flavors. Slightly slick, yet almost sticky mouthfeel. Smooth and clean. A good sweet beer. Maybe too sweet for repeated drinking. A little thin body for a brown ale. Low carbonation. Not bitter.
