Cheap single from Craft Beer Cellar in Dallas. A couple month under my desk at work, luggage trip home, two weeks in the fridge & now into my pint glass. Dark brown, opaque, cola-colored pour with a moderately bubbly, scummy, tan head. Slight smoke & sugary malt nose with a twinge of herbal. Sweet & smokey turning bittersweet char upfront, burnt sugar, burnt oats, bitter chocolate, a drip of cream; the chocolate lingers. Bit of a bitter Aspirin thing on the tail. Heavy body & an a boozy-ness that doesn't contribute anything. Okay.

Amber, slight haze, fairly thick head. Old school grapefruit and pine, with a nice rich pale malt base. Good IPA, classic character.

Can - hotel beer in Austin - clear medium gold - medium sweet, dank, resinous - peppery and citric hop character - a little syrupy late - ain’t bad for a hotel beer.

The can has changed and so has the abv, mine shows 9.0%. This stovepipe was acquired at a Total Wine recently, cannot recall which one. I have a snifter in place prepared to receive the pour. I determine a semi-transparent, dark orange body topped by a hefty head of almost white foam. The smell is very ripe fruit and grain. And I get to the drink, well, I compare it to 120 Minute. Without the kick. Orange rind, hops, bread, honey and meadow. Pleasant, glad to try it, probably one and done. I do like the label, drive a F-150 most of the time.

12 oz. can from HEB in San Antonio, TX. Pours an opaque pineapple juice color with a white head and good retention. Good lacing. Strong hops aroma. Grapefruit and pineapple hops flavors with a dry, medium bitter finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Above average for the style.
