Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma rather sweet malts, wheat, fruity yeast. Sweet banana. Flavour quite sweet, malts, wheat, light caramel, sweet banana. Slight hop bitterness. Decent, though rather one-dimensional, the sweetness is not quite balanced by the other flavours.

33cl bottle Hazy blond pour. Lots of initial head which died away quickly. Quite refreshing

On draft at Paraplu, Den Haag. Golden pour with white bubbly head. Light hops to aroma and flavor but very bland. Not unpleasant on a hot day, but certainly not a quality beer

Modriger, etwas verwässerter Malzantrunk. Die Intensität bleibt, das Aroma wird aber zunehmend trockener und bietet auch auf Dauer nichts Neues. Eintönig getreidig-malzig mit deutlicher Wässrigkeit, minimal karamellig. Der Hopfen zeigt sich in der Trockenheit, kommt aber aromenmäßig nicht zum Vorschein. Kurzer Abgang. 7/6/6/5/7/5

Recht süßer Antrunk, hefig, leicht alkoholisch. Im Mittelteil gefasster, würzig süß und hellmalzig auf angenehmem Niveau. Hier komtm eine Herbe langsam empor, die sich unterhalb der Süße einnistet und von nun an konstant bleibt. Vor allem das Malz in Verbindung mit der Süße sorgen für Vollmundigkeit, zum Ende scheint daraus resultierend ein leichter Nusston zu kommen. Cremig, zum Ende deutlich süßer, hier spielt der Hopfen zum ersten Mal eine wichtige, wenn auch nicht maßgebende Rolle. Netter Bock, der mit seinen Aromen tatsächlich eher in den Frühling als in de Winter passt. 9/9/9/11/8/9

30cl Bottle from AH. Hazy yellow colour, dense white head. Aroma of sweet banana, bubblegum, light clove. Typical weizen but sweeter. Flavour is light sweet, banana, light sourish wheat, a bit grainy, yeast, light spicy sweet-sour finish. Light bodied. It’s OK, not great, lacks a bit of depth, but if served in a random Dutch (Heineken-owned) bar I’d takes this over the standard bog (Wieckse) anytime.
