[2/12/15] Bottle sample at joet’s place. Thanks Joe! Clear golden. Very “green” hops aroma, a bit oniony, with some fruity notes. Dry flavor of “green” hops with some fruitiness and nice refreshing bitterness. Light to medium-bodied. Very nice stuff.

Pours a cloudy, golden yellow. Aroma is floral, bready, some fruitiness. Flavor includes all of these, with malt sweetness. Very smooth finish. Not really my style anymore, but this is a pretty good example.

Growler during RBWG. Pours a very dark brown with medium tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is roasted malt and cocoa. Medium mouth with toffee, nuts, roast, with light dry finish, very good.

Pours a cloudy, orangeish-gold, with minimal head. Floral, citrus aromas. Flavor is a very balanced combination of hop bite and malt sweetness--very smooth finish. Not quite the monster pale ale that some Toppling Goliath brews have been, but a very smooth drinking beer that I could see drinking as a "go to" pale ale.

2014 bottle. The beer pours an opaque black color with a medium thick foamy tan head that diminishes gradually. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla and bourbon. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, roasted malt and chocolate. The finish is boozy with a bourbon and chocolate malt aftertaste. Very enjoyable beer all around.
