Bottle 65 cl. Vintage 2013. Pours an almost syrupy thick, pitch black with a small, brown head. Sweet rich, vanillaish roast in the nose with lovely Bourbon accents. Extremely rich body, syrupy almost, sweet vanilla roast and again heavy, yet mellow Bourbon notes. Warming alcohol finish. A lovely HUGE Imperial Stout. 081114

Bottle 65 cl. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a small and lacing, white head. Sweet, malty body, a very clean maltiness with some pleasant, flowery hops. Very subdued bitterness. Could’ve been mistaken for a top notch fresh, German Helles. Very quaffable. 081114

No head left; veiled pale orange beer. Fresh exotic fruit wafting up upon pouring; grapes & lychee mainly. Very inviting hoparomas. Wry, dryish-bitterish citrus flavours, grapefruit- and orangepeel. Dry, clearly hoppy finish, Hessian hopbales. Rather medium bodied at best, faint (grist)slickness. Good pale ale, IPA-like; inviting and pleasing. Many thanks to M & L V.!

I had this at a bottle share here in Juneau.
This was poured actually into a tulip, forgive me for not having it in proper glassware.
Anyways, here’s the rest.
The appearance was a nice looking somewhat hazy to transparent golden to yellow bronzed color to it. A decent small yet slight carbonation clears the body nicely.
The smell had a nice sweet sticky and somewhat corn to wheat blended and slight citrus on the back end of it.
The taste followed the nose nicely as it kept a subtle flavor of sweet malty corn and a light flavoring of caramel to back up nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat subdued but mostly subtle, still no qualms. I say good for the most part.
Overall, I say this was a pretty decent California Common I could have. Me, I’m just glad to have something by them in the last Frontier.

Bottle shared. Pours very hazy golden orange with small floaters and a small off white head. Aroma of massive tropical fruit juice, pineapple up front with kiwi, light citrus. Flavor is light to light moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Some pine and very resinous hops coming out in the palate and sticking to your tongue. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Superb!

Bottle from Mikkeller, Viktoriagade. Hazy amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, peach and a little grapefruit. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, peach, grapefruit, little sweet, pine and medium bitter.

Snifter at Dexters. Thick unfiltered yellow-tan. Steady white head. Bright tropical hop tones. Very juicy. Really easy drinking. The melon taste is huge. Completely awesome.

Hazy golden color with a fine white head. Lovely powerful grapefruit hoppy and tropical fruity aroma. Medium to full body. A bit oily. Mellow sweetness and a lovely bitterness. Powerful balanced grapefruit hoppy, toffee, flower power and tropical fruity flavor. Powerful and yet mellow double IPA. Dangerously well hidden alcohol. Recomedable!
