Aroma is moderate malty, bread, straw, toasted - caramel, sweet malt, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, fruity, paper notes. Pig’s Ear. Slightly hazy amber beer, tidy off white head. Light dry palate. Nice mild citrus hops with a touch of strawberry. Nice even malt backbone. Dry finish. Alright.

Cask at Pig’s Ear Beer Festival, London. Deep amber. Spicy hops and ripe fruit. Mid dry with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Some caramel and dusted fruits, giving it a sort of harvest ale character. Balanced and nicely drinkable.

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2011. Amber colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, nectary, wooden and mildly vanillaish. Flavour is wood, fruits, some herbs and mild caramelly and crystal malty notes. Mild nuttyness show up in the finish as well.

Cask at Pen Y Bryn Hotel, Llanrwst. Very dark brown. Rich chocolatey nose with some coffee. Mid sweet, relatively fruity with dark chocolate followed by a lightly tarry finish. Soft and pleasant.
