320mL can, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Nose smells like typical macro swill, with grassy, herbal notes, bit of straw. Flavour is cheap and skunky, with grass, herbal notes, and skunky cabbage. Really awful, worse than usual macro swill.

A dark brown stout with a thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light caramel, light mocha coffee, pleasant. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, nice and surprising. Can from 7-11, Air Itam, Penang.

A golden cider with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet apple juice with loads of sugar, like a pop. In mouth, sweet cloying apple juice with harsh apple skins, tannic, cloying and unpleasant. Can from 7-11, Penang.

A golden Shandy with a thin receding white head. In aroma, loads of lemon juice, Kalamansi, light malt, ok. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light lemon notes, light grainy notes, a tad unpleasant. Can from a corner store, Penang.

33cl Can. Brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of cheap ginger ale, hint of lemongrass. Flavour is light roast, ginger ale, some lemongrass. Light bodied. Tastes like a soda pop.

Can shared at “Some Beers With Jmgreenuk, December ‘18. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of lemongrass, ginger, brown sugar, caramel, spice notes and malt. Flavour is heavy sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can at Duck Hast tasting, Zaandam. Black with light tan head. Sweet roasted chocolate malts, coffee, lemongrass, ginger. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
