On draft at the brewpub. Pours black with a tan head. Coffee aroma. Flavors of leather, coffee and licorice. Smooth bitter roast finish. Nice.

On tap at Old Schoolhouse, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and English bready malt. Flavour is quite hoppy on the west coast hops for an ESB, with piney hops and light bready malt. Quite flavourful for the style. Good stuff.

On tap at Old Schoolhouse, pours an amber brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a touch of coffee. Flavour is light but quite dynamic, with toasted malt and a touch of coffee. Light-bodied but well-balanced. Good stuff.

On tap at Old Schoolhouse, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma and flavour brings out fresh piney hops and just enough dry biscuity malt to back. Nice punchy hoppiness to this. Well-constructed.

On tap at Old Schoolhouse, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops and biscuity malt in good balance. Clean and well-balanced. Solid stuff.

On tap at Old Schoolhouse, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out lots of coffee upfront, not much else. Flavour is medium-bodied, with roasted malt and bold coffee notes. Medium-full body with a nice clean finish. Really good stuff.

On tap at Old Schoolhouse, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt upfront, with a touch of coffee. Flavour is medium bodied, with roasted malt upfront, a touch of coffee and dry cocoa. Lots of body for a non-imperial stout. Very nice stuff.

On tap at Old Schoolhouse, pours a hazy amber with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and some nuttiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt and a little roast. Quite flavourful for a brown. Nice.

On tap at Old Schoolhouse, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is light, with biscuity and crackery malt. Flavour is clean and crisp, with crisp crackery malt and a touch of dry hoppy astringency. Nothing exciting but a nice clean blonde.
