500ml (thx, Josh!) @ Matt's house. Appearance: hazy pale copper with a white head. Aroma: rustic notes, lime, barrel. Taste: along the same lines, low to moderately acidic, a lot of lime. Overall: pretty good.

500mL bottle, pours a fairly clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is very citric, with intense lime, some white line, and plenty of salt. Flavour has a nice combo of white wine expression and bright lime, accentuated by a nice amount of salt. Initially seems like it's gonna be too citric, but it all comes together nicely. Very good.

50cl bottle pours amber with some white head. Nose has persimmon and pomegranate, some acid. Flavor has blood orange and tomato, some apple cider vinegar. Spritzy finish. The berry arrives too late. Radagast83 gave this a 4.0? He was drinking something else.

12 oz. can from Spec's in Boerne, TX. Merry Christmas Eve. Pours a mostly clear yellow color with a white head and very good retention. Spotty lacing. Somewhat basic lager flavor with a slightly soapy taste. Decent. Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation. Not bitter.

I have a 12 oz bottle that came from my local beer retailer early in the summer. The label indicates this is the Winter 2022 edition and the ABV is 9.5%. Continuing the 512 connection, I am using my ABGB tulip glass for the sampling. The body has to be called black, because it is, and the head is a persistent ring of fawn-brown foam. The first thing I notice out of the nose is the booze, no complaints by me, and there follows chocolate and burnt grain. I take a drink and determine pecans definitely, alcohol, chocolate, some woodiness, malt and baked bread. I would have liked a thicker sensation. Little in the way of sweetness, straightforward in its approach. Good but not great.
