Description
Wij van De Leckere genieten van het leven. In onze moderne brouwerij brouwen wij, sinds 1997, met passie karakteristieke, onderscheidende en vooral leckere bieren. Echt lekker bier met een eigen smaak voor de hedendaagse genieter.
Wij brouwen uitsluitend biologische bieren.
In 2023 werd de brouwerij failliet verklaard maar maakte nadien een doorstart als brouwerijhuurder.

Clear yellow color, short white head. Quite typical blonde beer, with a bit grainy and spicy aroma, but mostly hoppy. Taste is bitter and slightly sweet. Bit watery palate, slightly bitter.

Another beer from the new series. The Witte Vrouwen was a belgian white, this Willibrord is an amber ale. Hazy copper color, short white head. Aroma of amber malts, bit metallic. Bit sour yeasty taste, some malts, bit metallic. Not an impressive brew.

A new series of beers brewn by brewery de Leckere, but distributed by the "Utrechtse Speciaalbier Brouwerij", which has its address at de Leckere. 'Brouwertje' is the first, now available are Willibrord and Witte Vrouwen. The new beers are not brewn according to the ’biological’ methods de Leckere uses, but are brewn the normal way. The beer has a cloudy pale yellow color, short white head. Aroma is a bit yeasty, some spicy coriander, bit cardboard like. Taste is a bit sweet, some grains, bit yeasty. Quite flat character.

An unclear light yellow beer with a fine head. The aroma is not that pleasant - wheaty and corriander. And neither is the flavor, which is sweet wheaty. And on top of that, the body is thin.

Rerate: tap, de Pintelier, Groningen. After a couple of years i tried this beer again, and it isn’t that bad. But the brewery has changed brewers in the meantime, so that might be the trick. Nowadays, it’s a decent double beer, although it still lacks some body. Originale rating: Nut brown color. This is Gueuze sourness mixed with dubbel malty sweetness. A bad mix i would say. Sourness is not something i’d like to taste in a dubbel.

Extremely hazy, thick, fluid caramel appearance. A lot of yeast floating around. Herbal, lemon aroma, quite typical belgian white. Average taste, not as refreshing as an Hoegaarden for example.

Pale golden color. Lacing disappears pretty quickly. Bit spicy, bit sour, bit sweet. From tap it didn't have a strong character. Weak triple overall.
