Can. Pours hazy mahogany, medium creamy beige head, dissipates fairly slowly, good lacing. Aroma is heavy peanut butter with a bit of roast. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, mega peanut butter, roasty and a bit of cocoa. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

Grey Lodge Pub, Philadelphia tap: pours brown with a small beige head. Aroma is malt and spice and some light hops. Taste is somewhat sweet. Some butterscotch and something else. Not bad, but again am not in love with the winter warmer style.

12 ounce can. Amber orange with a rich creamy beige head. Fragrant clove and cinnamon nose with vegetal notes. Flavor is lightly bitter with pumpkin and light spice. The spice is pleasantly understated here. Light body makes this easygoing and refreshing. Finish is dry with clove and cinnamon on the tongue.
