Bottle shared by my friend Mike, thanks! 5.9% ABV barrel aged per the label. Amber with off-white head. Aromas of funk and cheese. Tastes of slight dark fruit, funk, light oak. Light body with a dry finish.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy to semi-transparent yellow color. A one finger white foamy dissipated and left no lacing.
The smell had a sweet to sharp orange pulp and rind with a big lemon rind bitter and fresh. Light sweet pineapple helps to open up the aroma nicely.
The taste was a nice sweet to bitter citrus to tropical fruit balances nicely. There’s barely any aftertaste or finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good as an APWA, light wheat is felt to help take away some of carbonation away.
Overall, worthy crushable APWA. Send me fishing with this by my side.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy rounded out looking orange color with a slim finger’s white foamy head that dissipated within less than about forty seconds.
The smell had a semi-crisp sweet orange; semi-sweet to sharp lemon melding into each other nicely and carrying over a fairly decent super light spice underneath.
The taste takes the sweet orange and lemon to balance and bring in a crisp fresh sweet citrus to light spice aftertaste. There’s no finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation seems a bit under but that doesn’t bother me as it plays off \"the session\" part Manayunk says is on the can.
Overall, as a Belgian pale ale it works. As a session, I think Manayunk pulled it off. Definitely would love to have again on a hot Summer’s day, maybe alongside while fishing too.

The appearance was a nice looking semi-hazy burnt yellow color with a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds. Light speckled lacing weaves its way around the glass in a messy sort of way.
The smell has a nice blend of sweet pineapple, light mango, a little bit of orange and a slight bitter pine hops.
The taste was mainly bitter with a semi-sweet dry citrus effect roaming across my tongue. There’s no aftertaste but has a quick dry citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation comes across fairly well as a DIPA. Biter citrus rind hits my tongue decently.
Overall, as a DIPA it works. It’s a little more dry than some other DIPA’s I’ve had. Still good for the most part.

The appearance was a semi-hazy glossy orange color with less than a finger’s worth of white foaminess. Lacing concaves nicely along the sides.
The smell starts off with an iced apple to sweet citrus. Light mango, pineapple opens up once it warms. Belgian spices show their presence nicely.
The taste is well balanced between the spice and the sweet and also leads into the aftertaste nicely. The finish is semi-sweet but barely there.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation seems slightly under, but the spices seem to take care of the slight lack. Belgian sweet stickiness rolls over my tongue.

The flavor was gritty, leafy, piney and floral hops. All hops with nothing to back it up. Medium length finish. Medium body. Alcohol well hidden. Ok.
