Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a hazy golden color with a small soapy off white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet, malty, bready, a bit of vague fruit and must. The flavor was dryish and bitter with cardboard, citric acid, must and pepper. Medium length finish. Light body. Not good.

2014 version. 12oz can. Filtered amber body. Foamy beige head. Fruitcake cinnamon-ginger-allspice aroma. Big fruit, spice...but I kind of dig it in this one. The malt complements it well enough. Spiced Winter Warmer with some Wee Heavy undertones. Well made, enjoyable for what it is.

Local 44, Philadelphia tap: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is slight funk and light fruitiness. Taste has nice brett earthy notes in it without making this beer at all heavy with it. It certainly is very dry. It is most tasty. Very refreshing.

A little bit bitter, a little off tart. Some Belgian floral and some basement muck. Some resin. Not super well balanced. Pours cloudy golden with ok head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Tap at some bar in Philly.
