Draft Mighty Matanuska Brewfest: Poured a reddish maroon in color, the head was pink. Aroma is strong fruit blueberries. Taste is a refreshing mix of blueberry and wheat. Not very often I like a fruit doused wheat beer, but this was tasty.

12 Oz can pour. Pours a light, cloudy golden color with an immediate blast of hops on the aroma. You can smell the hops in this from across the room. Mild on the bitterness, and delicious hop flavor all throughout. Solid IPA.

Hazy light blonde. Thin head. Fresh limey, overripe fruit character. Light bready pale malt character, and finishing with a touch of bready/tannic.

At the brewpub. Light amber, piney grapefruit chinook nose. Earthy, quite pronounced grapefruit, hearty bitterness. Nice pale. Tasty 90s pale.

Golden colour, sweetish character with only a hint of agave. Finishes with a touch of acidity for balance.

Pale with a slight haze. Lactic nose with delicate floral fruitiness. Pale male and lactic on the palate, mild sourness, aged in Heaven Hill barrels but no real sign aside from light woodiness.

Dark brown, only a little head. Quite a toasty nose, roasty palate, a touch thin bit bringing some nice dark malt character, choc especially, and a fairly hearty bitterness.

At Capital Brew fest.
This was poured into a mini snifter.
The appearance was a semi - hazy golden orange to red color with a decent stringy lacing sliding right on into the beer.
The smell started off with a fairly decent caramel malt that had a nice rolling citrus sweetness stringing itself in a grapefruit and grassy graininess.
The taste was basically the same and added a fairly decent piney - ness.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was substantial but not overbearing. There was a decent harshness but nothing overbearing.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good DIPA I could have again. Denali, Juneau doesn’t bite, please send this to us again, I would be happy to buy this at my local Growler station.
