Sort of a dark golden colour. Long since devoid of all carbonation; that would change it. Dessert apple aroma with a light spice. Soft body, sweet clean apples. Plenty of sugar, but drinks light for the style. Relatively straightforward for the style but it's good.

Poured from leftover mini container (thanks fiulijn; assuming based on the ratings - vintage 2008). Clear gold with no head. Baked apple, hint of pineapple, booze, lacks depth. Probably too old (and was previously opened). It's no Quebec ice cider...

Poured from leftover mini container (thanks fiulijn). Clear gold with no head. Perfumey sweet stewed apple, not real complexity, but it's fine.

No foam or carbonation on a medium gold body, a sort of farty peach on the nose; tea there, peach there, slightly sweet but then again it reminds me of that fat kid at Sunday school who just smelled... odd. Flavour is sweet peach, tea maybe, melded together like a bad IPA at your local microbrewery. Interesting they could get that effect, yet it's usually something I try to avoid. Sadly, I bought 6 cans of this... why don't the food banks take beer? !?

Mellow gold body and pretty much no foam, minimal carbonation. A really nice Early Grey tea aroma mixed with apple, that's working well. Flavour is tea leaning, tempered by some soft apple. Full enough but not really crisp. Some potential here but it needs some work.

2019 edition, 750ml bottle, 12.5% abv. Twist top. Pours deep pink with strong foam though it doesn't linger. I smell tart sweet plum, dried apple, hints of raspberry. Flavour is intense sweet plum, sugary apple. Finish is slightly boozy, some eau de vie style notes intertwined there. Otherwise still very good, a little heavy, but well crafted.

Pours with excellent foam and a stormy clear gold body, strong chewy sweet apple on the nose that bears no indication of its high alcohol. Flavour is deep sweet apple, sugary but tart, with a hint of bitter skin at the end though it's tempered by the sweetness. Also ends up quite dry on the tongue. Not bad at all, a little sweet and simple but nice for a dessert digestif.

Nice deep clear red body and soft foam, mellow semi-sweet cherry on the nose tempered by some apple. Flavour is heavy cherry, slightly bitter with plenty of tannins, meaty almost and vague apple hints. Very dry finish, a lot of tannins lingering. Nonetheless pretty nice balance, not bad at all to drink.

Has a good deep copper-ruby body and no real lingering foam. The aroma is very soft apple and rhubarb, vanilla again, not as citric as it should be for that combination. Flavour is nice tart rhubarb, good apple notes, lots of vanilla on the tongue. Nice full finish. Not bad but could be more tart and saccharine to bring out the rhubarb.

Really nice foam on a medium gold body with small carbonation bubbles. Sweet peach and apricot on the nose but also tempered by noticeable alcohol levels and no complexity. Flavour is tart peach and acidic apricot. Alcohol is well hidden and has a nice mouth puckering finish. Good acidity, nice balance. Though the apple really doesn't represent itself in any meaningful way.
