Draught @ Albion. Hazy bright orange with small frothy white head, faint doughy aroma, medium carbonation, watery taste with minimal hops flavor, abrupt finish. Should be nice under scorching sun, but...

12 ounce bottle. Hazy honey gold color has a moderate Rocky white head and clinging lace. Aroma is lemon peel, sulphur and yeasty malt. Upfront flavor mirrors the nose. Tangy citrus malt balanced by dryish bitter peppery hops. Slightly sour finish is assertive, yet refreshing. Nicely done.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Light foamy rings rise and fall gracefully.
The smell started off with a sharp citrus rind and led to a decent citrus/grapefruit/apricot aroma. As it warms, there’s a slight grassiness in it.
The taste was moderately bitter, with a sharp bittering to contrast but not necessarily combined. There’s a quick dry tropical fruity aftertaste that leads to a dry fruity finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style and for me as it gave off a decent sharpness.
Overall, this was an okay AIPA. I could have probably have again.

Spuyten duyvil, brooklyn cask: pours black with a small loose cask head. Aroma is chocolate, mint, and maybe anise. Taste and aroma are like of an old school British porter. Interesting and a little different. Better than expected.
