Draught @ Ginger Man (10/25/19). Clear reddish copper with small foamy light beige head, light caramel aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter caramel taste with faint pumpkin and spices - ginger/nutmeg/cinnamon - thin body, long finish. Nice, not with an overpowering pumpkin flavor.

Quite hazy deep copper, peach and orange coloured body with a very unfiltered glow and a very thin, not even half a centimetre tall pure white head on top. Aroma of cactus leaves, light coriander seed, cucumbers, a dose of herbs, some softer brine and pure salt notes and a dash of very faint watermelon on the end that doesn't taste artificial, but barely tastes like anything. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive biscuity malt bite at first with a stronger grain and floral component, but the hazy and malt make this taste more like a pils or a dortmunder more than anything, but the biscuits and dryness define the malt product with a strong and robust bite at the end. Aftertaste shows a lot more work that needs to be done across the board, but also with the grainy and herbal character that finishes this off nicely. Overall, a nice enough beer that is a bit different than others and the watermelon barely shows through. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 23-June-2019 for US$1,59 sampled at home in Washington on 28-September-2019.

12 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy yellow gold color. Bubbly white head. Tangy lemony malt aroma. Sweet and sour lemon malt flavor. Creamy mouthfeel from lactose. Does taste like lemon salt water taffy. Brief citrusy finish. Very drinkable, but not much substance here.

Gezapft am Flughafen Newark Trübes Gold-Gelb, kein Schaum Kaum Aroma, man riecht etwas Hopfen, Zitrone, Sahnebonbon. Geschmack: auch relativ geschmacklos. Getreide/Brot im Hintergrund und Gaumen. Hopfen. Leicht cremig. Etwas Bitter. Erfrischend aber harmlos und uninteressant

12 ounce can. Hazy amber gold pour. Large frothy bite head leaves lots of clinging lace. Bready malt nose has fresh watermelon notes. First sip brings notes of toasted malt, citrus fruit and watermelon. Crisp and refreshing. Pleasant and flavorful.

16 ounce can. Cloudy orange gold color topped by a frothy beige head. Bready malt nose has citrusy notes. Big lemon/lime flavor , as advertised. Bready malt base is somewhat overpowered by the the tart lemon/lime flavoring. Big bitter hop component with boozy alcohol notes as well. Like a high powered shandy.

12 ounce can. Brilliant amber gold pour. Frothy beige head. Fragrant toasted malt nose hints at bright citrus. Flavor follows nose with added notes of caramel, grapefruit and orange pith. Crisp, clean flavor. Dank, bitter finish. Well done.
