Bottle from Pennsport. Medium golden pour, head a bit weak for the style. Aroma is yeasty, grainy and rich. Taste follows the pattern, Belgian yeast, fairly hefty body, nice slick feel. Some savory, herbal noes help accent the taste.

Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a bright pink and ruby tint, all with a nice and relatively large four to five centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pure raspberries, yeast, coriander seed, alcohol, honey and a good deal of malts and some moderate caster sugar note on the end. Medium-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour at first with a ton of raspberry and fruit flavours noticeable at first with some grain, full malts and a lot of bread and alcohol notes near the end. Aftertaste shows some more yeast, alcohol, coriander seed and curaco and a bunch more raspberry and cherry flavours towards the end with still a lot of residual sweetness at the tail end. Overall, a nice fruit-based Tripel with a good dose of alcohol and sugars that shows nicely throughout and leaves a good complexity towards the end with yeast, alcohol and fruits all around the edges. I sampled this twleve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 08-March-2018 for US$2,99 sampled in my hotel room in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on 18-March-2018.

Draft. Lots of sticky head and lacing. Lightly hazy by modern standards and very by old standards. Aroma is moderate hops with mostly weed/dirty hippy. Also hops of light lemon peel, sweat. Basically a mild pothead. Flavor is low on. Utter mess but present. With more lemon peel citrus and less hippy. Moderate carb curing through it. Soft malt white bread and hop bitterness sticks around. It's fine if you like smelly hippy.

Out of bottle. Black. Aroma has some strong alcohol and barrel but doable. A little thin smell.m but enough malt to keep it going. Vicious body but not thick. Low carbed but coats. Strong lightly bent malt flavor coated in liquor with heat. But never going over the top. Balances a delicate line.
