Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is mild hoppy, rather bitter. Taste is very Sharp, bitterness, bit buttery. Extremely overcarbonated. Bit yeasty. Mild orange touch. Not bad, but too much carbo for sure

15 cl. draft @ Antwerp Craft Beer Fest. Hazy orange with a solid lacing white bubbles head. Nose is mellow sweet yoghurt, white bread, milky sweet, low banana. Taste is far too sweet, far too yoghurt heavy, milky sweet, white sugar (huge), white bread, flowers. Body is huge yoghurt, milky sweet, white sugar. Didn’t pick this one for an IPA, more a pore Belgian Ale. Yoghurt taste & sweetness are far too big for me. Disappointing, expected a lot more from Inglorious Brew Stars.

Bottle. A dark brown to black beer wtih a dense, two-finger light tan head. Curtains. The aroma has lots of licorice and roasted malts, even charcoal, for a quad, with some dried fruits and alcohol in the back. Caramel sauce too. It’s full bodied and rather heavy on the carbonation, lightly warming, and quite sweet on the palate. Licorice, caramel sauce, roasted malts and some burnt down bonfire in the flavor. In the far back it resembles a regular quad, especially in the lasting swallow. Sure, it’s a fine brew, but in my opinion the carbonation is so high it messes with the joy of drinking it. 160810

Clear, nearly black with thick beige head. Aroma has malt, dark sugar, vanilla, barrel and whisky. Malty, slightly woody flavour with clear notes of whisky. Sweet. Boozy but still light mouthfeel and finish.

Bottle. A hazy orange colored beer with a dense, off-white foam top. Some curtains. The aroma is piney and resiny, with citrus zest and a little malty hint. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Unusual for and IPA, which would be the best classification for this beer, but this Belgian twist and also the faint spiced yeastyness works well with the flavors of orange zest, resins and pine cones. Nice bitterness too, with the malts almost hidden in the far back. Piney, orangey and bitter finish. A really pleasant and tasteful beer, wouldn’t mind seeing more of this in my fridge. 160723

330ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, fluffy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Grassy hoppy, minimally citrusy aroma depicts a cross-section of an Alpine-meadow flavour profile, floral aspects, hay-spiciness, a touch of weed, additional hints of quince, old lemon peel. Taste is bitter hoppy, dry fruity, minimally soapy, notes of old lemon peel, some quince, a spicy touch of hay, grass, weed, pale malty basis, a mildly peppery spicy yeasty touch. Easy drinkable, fairly spicy, really nice - but doesn’t qualify for a ’summa’..

Cloudy golden, airy white froth. Aroma has grass and passionfruit. Flavour adds some pine and sweet malt. Creamy mouthfeel with a slightly rough and bitter bite towards the finish.
