Closer to a macro lager than a craft Mexican-style cerveza, with a fizzy, corn-tinged front, hints of lemon, and a seltzer-ish, empty finish. Nothing terrible, just nothing really of note, either.

From a mixasix at Martins Winchester VA: Faint lemon and chemical nose. Clear yellow, headless. Mild lemon. Subdued corn finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. Not overly corny, surprising body.

12 ounce can from Niemuth's, 5/27/22. Hazy amber, large frothy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, candied citrus, pale malt. Taste is agave, citrus, melon, pale malt. Juicy, low bitterness, well balanced. Nice.

A recent purchase of Orale at a nearby HEB supermarket from their singles display. Low anticipation for a lower end style but let us see how it goes. The 12 oz bottle is cold and going into an old style handled beer glass. The view is a clear, straw yellow body with a persistent top of fully white bubbles. Active carbonation for sure. The nose is your basic lager smell. And the taste does not stand out in the style, no surprise. Grain, a touch of citrus, a little bit of sweet corn and water. Certainly a sessionable beer, I can say that. And beers like this can benefit from a slice of lime squeezed into it. So I will do so. And yes, there is an improvement with that.

On tap at this solid fish place in Grapevine. Pint glass. Just had to. Clear, copper, bubbling. Malty, softly sweet, borderline maple-y. Sticky, bittersweet, slightly industrial. Lingering menthol-like hops. Solid, harsh, cleansing carbonation. Sort of like a less iffy, richer Yuengling that still tastes okay when it warms. Sustainable.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall off-white head that fades slowly. Aroma of very fragrant peach and nut scents with a lot of caramelised sugars, toffee and grain here, but the peaches are striking and very fresh smelling - suprisingly nice in the nose! Light to Medium-bodied; Great hit of peaches and pecans right away with a mellow dose of malts, graininess and some earthy qualities a few seconds later, but the peaches and nuts stand out in a great way and provide a lot of complexity here. Aftertaste shows the caramel, nuts, earth and grainy flavours with the light pear and peach fruitiness near the tail end, but a lot of complexity throughout and a hint of subdued spices at the end on top of the malts. Overall, a very nice and surprisingly good holiday-ish beer that has some southern charm while being easy-drinking, perhaps a nice option in the [relatively] warm Southern/Texas winters? Very nice to sample and well worth trying at least one of in comparison to some of the more 'typical' holiday beers, this is a welcome variance! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Columbia Pike), Virginia on 03-April-2022 for US$3,99 for a six pack, sampled at my house here in Washington on 21-April-2022.

11/4/2022. Can shared by minutemat, cheers. Pours clear pale orange gold with a small, short lasting frothy white head. Aroma of pink grapefruit, light ginger, leafy notes. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of ginger warmth. Light body, watery, foamy.
