bottle - This is a nice pale ale, and is on the high end of the bitterness scale for the style. It has a somewhat malty aroma, but the taste and aftertaste is dominated by the hops. This brew is a pretty good choice, though certainly not the best of what’s probably my favorite style, the pale ale.

bottle - I don’t understand the "bitter" comments. It doesn’t taste even a little bitter to me. It would probably be better if it did. It’s a okay ale, but mostly it’s boring. Better than a Bud, but nothing to get excited about. This "Tire Bite" ale definitely needs more bite. Maybe that’s the style of golden ale.

An opaque brown beer with a lazing though collapsing brown head. The flavor is sweet and very roasty, while the flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and chocolate combined with hops. Nice one.

Bottle. Strong peach malt and hops aroma. Orange-red-brown color with small head. Slightly sweet peach malt flavor with strong hops finish - not too overpowering. Nice flavor with nice bitterness.

Bottle. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Light yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet/tart malt aroma with hint of hops in the finish. Favorably comparable to the German Koelschs.

Bottle courtesy beeryum. Deep brown opaque body, medium tan head. Aroma of chocolate, molasses, breads, prune, raisin, marshmallow, and soy. Classic Baltic Porter/Imperial Stout. Chocolatey body with notes of soy, toast, raisin, and prune. Full-bodied, rich, and complex. Belongs in the Baltic Porter classification, of course.

On tap at the brewery on 02/28/2009. Dark black body with a large creamy brown head. Sweet roast and chocolate aroma. Sweet dark chocoalte and roast flavor with lots of hops. medium full body with moderate carbonation. 7/5/8/3/15 - 3.8 11/18/2005: Dark brown head with a thick black color. This beer has a sweet aroma and a very chocolate taste with a smokey aftertaste. 7/5/8/4/16 - 4.0

Bottle. Cherry apple aroma. Reddish amber color wtih small head. A slight candied or artificial cherry and strong hops flavor. Well blended.

Aged six months. This is good. Sweet aroma with some alcohol. Plain brown appearance. Good flavor. Some dried fruit, bread, some smoke. Alcohol bite on the palate.

Bottle at London Gathering Nov 05. The label on the bottle sparked an interesting debate over Hunter S Thompson and is he over-rated. Black beer with farily non existant head. Nice aroma and goodish balance. Chocolate orange and coffee dominate throughout. Pretty good, but as Duff says, this lacks a bit of the intensity you would expect from an Imperial
