Not bad. A decent Italian effort. Pillowy white head, golden pour with carpet lacing. Some hay and some sour fruit. Average carbonation, bitter and sour finish. On tap.

Dark amber color, hazy, with small creamy head disappearing quickly. Aroma of wood, lightly vinous, and fruity. Still carbonated in the mouth, the body is thin, the mouthfeel light; moderate malt flavor with elegant wine notes, light fruitiness, a touch of spirit; correct bitterness; light residual sweetness.
It suffers from the light body combined with the high carbonation, the final dryness, but it’s quite pleasant overall. Not impressive though.

Bottle from a trade. Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. A bit really sour nose, some floral elements. The flavor is mellow, flowers, cookie dough, big powerful spices including juniper.

Pizzeria Paradiso, Dupont tap ($10): Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is lemony citrus with some spice. Taste is much the same. Pretty light. Some minor complexity, but not in a particularly impressive way. Easy to drink, but in a way that should barely be a point for it.

Hazy deep amber beer, tidy cream coloured head. Slightly lactose nose. Dry and crispy palate. Fairly sour but not a wince inducer! Nice mixed sour dried fruits. Woody dryness. A little bitterness. Dry finish. Not bad at all!

Bottle. Pours clear gold with white head. Gusher. Nose/taste of dry nuts, dusty grain, grape, sweet malt and hints of dried fruit. Finishes very dry. There is one flavor I can’t quite place, which I am guessing is the absinthe. Medium body.
