Tap. Poured a clear, golden light-orange color with an incredibly small white head. Aroma is malty, caramel notes, hops. Flavor is caramel, nuts, malts. Pretty solid, Oktoberfest beer. This beer was smooth and had a pretty clean finish.

Served on draft at the brewpub on 10/20/10. Pours a hazy orange color with a large creamy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus, earthy and herbal hops and pale malty notes. The taste is bitter leafy hops with some herbalness as well as some peach-like fruit notes. Fairly dry. Medium bodied. Good beer, but there’s something about it that doesn’t appeal to me.

Cask at the brewpub. Reddish brown color, off white edge head, scant lacing. Aroma of roasted coffee, coffee grounds and brown sugar. Taste reminds me of a light version of shoo fly pie. Light bodied, decent English style porter.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear golden color, tiny white head, scant lacing. More robust than your average Oktoberfest, with a better hop profile than hops. Hops were a bit lacking, but overall a nice example of the style.
