Description
Kompaan had humble beginnings, with just a few recipes and a whole lot of gusto. The brewery was founded by Jeroen and Jasper, two school friends that have known each other longer than not. They shared a zest for life and were ready to put The Hague on the craft beer map. The brewery name is based on this friendship, two companions drinking together. As a modern, young brewery making contemporary, exciting beers, the name is spelt in modern Dutch, as “kompaan”, and not “compaen”.

Angenehm rauchiger Geruch. Rauchiger Beginn mit minimal säuerlichem Hintergrund, würzig, schwer werdend, etwas Karamell. Die Rauchigkeit bleibt stark, Nuancen von Schokolade, langer Nachhall. Gefällt. 9/12/10/11//12

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Grassy hop with notes of gooseberries and lemongrass. Soft pale malt. Moderate to medium bitter, fairly dry. Underwhelming, there's a reason Saaz isn't used as an aromahop for IPA's.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Grassy and citrusy with orange, light malt, touch of herbal tea. Moderate to medium bitter, finishes a bit dry. A Session NEIPA really, bit lighter than I like.

Can. Bit hazy golden. Dry wheat, grassy, light floral, green tea, lemon balm, tangerine, a touch of dough. Over light sweet, very light bitter. Under medium bodied, slightly dry. Rhis is really a session IPA, no odea why they market this as NEIPA, it's also a bit bland and not really worth the money imho.
